Dr. Jan Venter is a Family and Functional Medicine Practitioner who practices in Vancouver and Surrey, BC, Canada. He obtained a Medical Degree and a Master’s Degree in Family Medicine at The University of The Free State in South Africa. He is also Board-certified in Family Medicine in Canada.
As one of the first candidates to graduate at The Institute for Functional Medicine’s Certification Program (IFMCP), Dr. Venter, is uniquely trained in the Functional and Lifestyle Medicine model to identify and treat the root cause of chronic disease. He believes that Personalized Medicine is the future of Medicine and that patient-centered care is key. He practices Functional Neurology and uses Neurofeedback and Neuromodulation to enhance Neuroplasticity and healing in patients with brain health conditions.
He is the founder of Fusium Medical and Brain Vault Health Systems. He is an alumni of Exponential Medicine and Singularity University with a keen interest in biohacking and exponential technologies like Regenerative Medicine and Stemcells, Neurotechnology, Flow States, Nanotechnology, AI, Deep Learning, Sensors, Networks, Robotics, 3D printing, Telemedicine and Advanced Diagnostics.
